MOTORGUIDE GATOR IIä MOUNT MAKES THE BEST EVEN BETTER

MotorGuide’s now famous Gator Mountâ re-wrote the book on trolling motor bracket strength and durability when it was first introduced back in 1993 and has been the industry standard ever since.  Now, MotorGuide introduces the Gator IIä, an even tougher, better-looking version of Gator Mount with several new features. 

While the original Gator Mount has an incredible breakaway feature to protect the shaft and lower unit against collisions, the Gator II offers a spring-return breakaway design for added user convenience.  Soft-touch knobs provide breakaway tension adjustments ranging from spring resistance to complete lock-down.

            The MotorGuide Gator II Mount features a hinged door for easy motor removal and 3/8” stainless steel pins to keep the motor secure in both lock-and-stow and lock-and-run positions.  

Gator II’s column support block has the shaft offset in order to center the weight of the lower unit directly over the mount.  This design offers better lower unit support while the motor is in the stowed position.          

            Completely constructed of extruded aircraft aluminum, Gator II’s new styling greatly compliments the modernistic curves and looks of today’s fishing boats.

            The Gator II Mount comes standard on all Tour Edition motors and on certain Competition and Excel MotorGuide motors.
