LEWS BB SERIES ADDS SALTWATER MODEL
WITH UPDATED FEATURES
After more than 25 years in the fishing industry, Lew’s is making a few changes to the company’s standard BB baitcast reels and has added a new saltwater model. For all of these years, the BB’s original design has left very little room for improvement.
Lew’s BB reels still feature the original Lew’s tournament-tested internal mechanism, original Lew’s centrifugal braking system and one-piece diecast aluminum frame.
Lew’s BB reels now feature Continuous Anti-Reverse, thumb bar spool release and a titanium-nitride line guide to help take this series into the new Millennium.
Joining the BB series freshwater models is the BB25SW saltwater model. Each of the three reels have three stainless ball-bearings and continuous anti-reverse.
The BB25SS boasts a fast 5.5:1 gear ratio with 25 inches per turn retrieval. The BB19GS is a low-speed model with 4.3:1 gear ratio and 19 inches per turn retrieval. Lew’s BB25SW is corrosion-protected for saltwater use and has a fast 5.5:1 gear ratio with 25 inches per turn retrieval rate.
