BROWNING HIGH POWER REELS – THE NAME SAYS IT ALL

The name Browning High Power certainly sounds like a precision piece of equipment.  Well, it is.   This new series of High Power spinning reels offers the perfect blend of design simplicity with high-tech performance. 

            It’s a four reel series with a size and line capacity for most freshwater fishing situations.  The HP2000 holds 145 yards of 6 lb. test line; the HP3000 holds 130 yards of 8 lb. line; the HP4000 holds 145 yards of 12 lb. line; and the HP5000 holds 140 yards of 17 lb. test. 

The two smaller size reels have 5.3:1 gear ratios; the two larger ones are 4.8:1.

All four models feature a smooth and durable four-bearing system.  Each also has selective Continuos Anti-Reverse, balanced rotor and handle, and right or left hand retrieve.

All models also come with Browning’s LMS (line management system) and the Browning exclusive static rear drag system.  Plus, a spare spool comes packaged with all models.

High Power is a lot of reel for the money.  The HP2000 and 3000 sell for about $49.99. the HP4000 and 5000 for about $59.99.
